Why use a Serum?

Serums are ultra-intensive, lightweight formulas that protect skin with a deep concentration of hydration and nutrients.  Molecules in an essential oil infused serum are smaller and much more concentrated than a regular moisturizer.  A serum can better target issues like age spots, sun damage and fine lines, in the layers beneath your skin’s surface.

If you’re looking for “bang for your buck” DIY beauty treatments today, I’m afraid this isn’t that. I consider this the “ultimate serum” for it’s transforming effectiveness, a direct result of rare essential oils that your skin will respond to beautifully.

Pure Essential Oils

Now you have an better inkling of how rare and powerful this serum is.  Cheap?  No.  An investment in beautiful skin?  Yes.

Fun fact!  The classic beauty Jackie Kennedy attributed her beautiful complexion to almond oil, in her honour I chose almond oil to as the base to my serum and consider it a valuable addition for it’s own amazing properties!

Almond oil has a high content of vitamin E, diminishes fine lines, relieves itching, provides protection from the sun, lengthens lashes and promotes elasticity of the skin.

This is an oil you’ll want to consider more often for some of your other EO recipes, it’s emollient and lovely!

The Serum

________________

3 drops Frankincense

2 drops Rose

2 drops Helichrysum

2 drops Lavender

2 drops Geranium

2 drops Sandalwood

2 teaspoons Almond Oil

In a 5 ml glass bottle add the essential oils and top with almond oil.   You can leave the serum in this bottle.

“serum first ~ moisturizer second”

Keep in mind that a serum is meant to use sparingly on a clean face.  After cleansing, add a small drop of serum to your fingertip and dab on fine lines, sun spots, age spots and uneven skin tone, then…moisturize.  I also add a drop to the back of my hands, a reflection of how your skin is aging.

Once again, I realize the investment involved to create this serum.  If you have all the EOs needed great!  If not, start slow…create your own serum with the EOs that you DO have and add the rest as you increase your collection.

We provide all the essential oils and other ingredients listed above specially shipped in from the U.S. which is certified organic and 100% original without dilution or added preservatives.
