Performing on the new “America’s Got Talent”, 16-year-old Camille K covered Finneas’ “Let’s Fall in Love for the Night”.
It was stated by the singer to the audience of the AGT show that she came to the show because she wanted to perform to the music and impress everyone, so she began her performance with Finneas’ ballad “Let’s Fall in Love for the Night ”. Despite entering the performance for just a minute, Simon Cowell requested that the contestant stop singing, telling her that she had a nice voice and that the song was fine.
Camille’s only problem is that Simon wants her to stand out with something unique, so he asked Camille if she had ever written her own songs, and that’s when the AGT contestant revealed to the judges that she wrote her song, “Still in Love”, in the wake of a heartbreak. After performing the song, Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum gave the boy a standing ovation, bringing him to tears.
Obviously now the judges were impressed. Cowell added, “I think, like all artists, it’s about finding the song that defines you. And going forward, if you go forward, that’s the key. “Vergara added, “I think your voice is even more amazing. I thought it was spectacular.” She got 3 “Yeses” from the judges (Howie Mandel was not present). She will go on to the next round.
